Mar 31, 2020: I had plans to see more of the world this year, but I’m mainly grateful that I traveled so much when I did. We always hear “you’ve got to do it now or you may never get the chance”, but that’s usually in reference to limitations that come with responsibility and old age. Never thought the thing preventing travel would be something like this. Here’s a shot of me all happy and whatnot on Bled Island in Slovenia 🇸🇮 I’m so glad I got to have that adventure right before all this broke out. Glad I was hired for a remote job right before the whole world had to go remote anyway. Glad I became eligible for health insurance a month ago. Things blow right now but to be honest I can’t stop thinking about how lucky my timing turned out. I probably can’t go finish Tour Du Mont Blanc this year or road trip the National Parks as planned, but what if I was out there just now attempting it, only to be interrupted by a global pandemic? When this is over I want to road trip around and see all my friends around the country, we should reunite! The new job is a backpacking/trekking company, so we’re pretty affected by all this 🙁 But still hoping to run trips later in the year as planned

@thedetoureffect thanks Josy, yeah I’m just fine! I’m in Colorado with family but I did hear that about Arizona. They officially went into a shelter in place order today, so hopefully that helps 🤞🏻 I do plan to head back there in the next couple weeks. Are you guys ok up North? Any opportunity to get outside?

@thedetoureffect absolutely! Even the not-so-good things that had happened earlier this year, I’m glad they happened before COVID. Can’t imagine dealing with them simultaneously. I feel like the Timing Gods were looking out for me
@anna_zenia Same, I’m happy to be at home with my parents for the time being. I was supposed to leave for my job in two weeks, but I still don’t know if that’s happening!
